Gavin is building a model of a kitchen in the model 2/5 of the floor tiles or white one half of the floor tiles are yellow and one tenth of the floor tiles are brown how many floor tiles could be in the model? 2, 5, 10, or 17

To find the answer to this question we would have to find the Least Common Denominator. We have 1/2, 2/5, and 1/10. What multiples do these numbers have in common.
2, 4, 6, 8, 10
5, 10, 15, 20, 25
10, 20, 30, 40, 50
10 is our LCD so that's the answer.

I think it's 10 because 10 is a multiple of 10,2, and 5. 5x2=10 2x5=10 10x1=10. Hoped I helped:D
