Stand up and hold a book or other object in your hand. Flex your bicep muscle and lift up the lower part of the arm that is holding the object. Next, pretend you are kicking a ball by making a kicking motion with your leg. Finally, sit on the edge of your chair and bring both legs up and hold them parallel to the floor and then bend them back down again.

What type of simple machine is demonstrated by each of these activities?

It is only one. The lever. I was really confused when it broke it down in class systems.
