What inference can be drawn about how ancient Egyptians felt about the bodies and belongings of their dead pharaohs?

Egyptians believed that their pharaoh's took their bodies and belongings into the afterlife, which is why they were buried with them. It can be inferred that ancient Egyptians respected their pharaohs by abiding by this (leaving the riches with the body rather than taking the riches for themselves).

They felt they had to take care of the dead pharaohs. The pharaoh is such a big part, they felt they had to honor and care for the deceased pharaoh.
