Salutations!

First, add -2y to both sides.

-3x + 2y + -2y = 12 + -2y

-3x = -y + 12

Second, divide by -3 on both sides.

(-3x)/(-3) = (-2y + 12)/(-3)

x = (2)/(3) y - 4

Hope This Helps!!!
