How did the war effort change employment opportunities for women and african american?

Even though we can not state that were good opportunities, we definitely have to say that many chances of productivity were open for women and african americans. Some of those areas were War industries work and enlisted in segregated units. Many women were used as cooks, RR workers, clerks and teachers.
