Learning by watching the behavior of another person, or model is known as observational learning.
Since you learn by observing others, it is called observational learning. You usually observe your parents, teachers, friends, etc. and find behaviors that you'd like to take from them and then you do after a period of observation. This is true particularly during your earliest years of life, although it often occurs later on as well.
