2) Test each one and see if it is a Pythagorean Triple

4^2 + 7^2 = 10^2 -------That is false
6^2 + 8^2 = 9^2 ---------That is false
8^2 + 15^2 = 40^2 ------That is false
9^2 + 40^2 = 41^2 ------This is True

The answer is D

3) Same this just test which one is NOT a Pythagorean Triple

3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2 ---------This is true
7^2 + 10^2 = 16^2 ------This is false

We don't even need to check the others. The answer is B

6) We just check again

6^2 + 8^2 = 100^2 -------This is true so we are already done.

The answer is A. You can try the others ones to check

Hope this helped :)

So, to solve these problems, you do the same thing for each one. Basically, you just plug the numbers into the Pythagorean Theorem, with the longest side being "c". For number 2, you would start by doing 4 squared + 7 squared = 10 squared. Then, 16 + 49 = 100. Finally, 16 + 49 does not equal 100, so A is not the answer. Proceed to do this for the rest of the problems. For number 3, be sure to choose the answer that is NOT a right triangle. I would give you the answers, but it is best if you do them on your own so that you get some practice in ;) If you have anymore questions, feel free to message me :)
