The right answer is mitochondria.

Mitochondria are intracellular organelles whose main function is to provide cells with the energy they need to survive and the functions they are supposed to perform. The cells draw their energy from organic molecules (sugars, proteins, lipids) that they draw in their environment. These organic molecules once oxidized in the presence of oxygen provide electrons to a set of protein complexes forming the electron transport chain also called respiratory chain.
