Suggest two ways in which parents can raise boys and girls to encourage equal power relations?

They can share responsibilities and make them pay for the extra things they want.

Make them share responsibilities. Make the boy cook and clean as well as the girl do yard work and stuff of that nature. But switch it up as well, otherwise you'll just have a child that does the opposite of what his/her gender normally does.
