Why should a person that takes an HIV test today also take one in 3 months?

Some one please help me find the right answer please.

I agree with the comment above. Because it is always active, and won't show up. There is people that may have it and don't know they have it unless tested for it.

Because the HIV virus takes time to multiply and get established. Person might have been infected, but it not show up in tests for some time.
