The correct answer is number 2.

Through the process of evaporation and transpiration water vapors goes up in the atmosphere. In the atmosphere vapors cool and changed into liquid water. This change of state of water from gas to liquid is called condensation. Condensation is very essential process in the water cycle because it forms clouds. The clouds cause rainfall or precipitation.
