if it was a right triangle, you can use the phythegeorem theroem

2^2+5^2=c^2
4+25 = c^2
29 = c^2
sq root each side

the side would round to about 5.385 m, in feet you would multiply by the conversion rate of 3.28 is about 17.663 ft

Answer:

Length of third side can be 13.12 feet

Explanation:

For a,b and c to be the sides of a triangle it must satisfy:

a<b+c , b<a+c and c<a+b

Here a=2 meters and b=3 meters

Then, 2<3+c , 3<2+c and c<2+3

Let, c=4

Then, c satisfies the above 3 inequalities

Hence, Length of third side can be 4 meters

1 meters ≈ 3.281 feet

4 meters ≈ 13.12 feet

Hence, length of third side can be 13.12 feet
