In winter season or during the low temperature the human body starts working differently.

The whole body helps in regulating the temperature inside the body. The skin is the outer layer of the body which helps in keeping the temperature of the body optimum.

The muscles of the body starts shivering which generates heat and the hair follicles contracts to keep the body warm.

All of the above conditions are response of homeostasis.
