i did 12-15=(-3)/3=(-1)-3=(-4) and i got -4

According to PEMDAS, division goes before subtraction. So, we divide 15 by 3, which equals 5. That leaves us with 12-5-3. Now, we subtract 5 from 12 = 7. Finally, 7 - 3 = 4, therefore, the answer is 4.
