Can someone help me with correlation and scatter plots?

scattered plots are used to show if a table is positive, negative, or has a non correlation. if the scattered plot is a positive correlation, it is going up from bottom left corner to top right corner. if the scattered plot is negative, it is going down from top left corner to bottom right corner. if it is a no correlation, it has the points scattered around the plot.
