2/3 and 1/5 is 13/15
you find the GCF (greatest common factor) and then multiply to get the GCF
in this case the GCF is 15 (remember that what you do to the bttom you do to the top
2x5=10-----3x5=15 10/15
1x3=3-------5x3=15 3/15
10/15 + 3/15=13/15
