Since it filled 3/4 the cup in HALF an hour, you would multiply the top number, 3*2=6, so you have 6/4th, which also equals 1 2/4 OR 1 1/2, so the answer would be;

C. 1 1/2 cup per hour.

Hope this helps you!

Answer:

1(1)/(2) cups per hour, Option C.

Explanation:

Joe tapped his maple tree to get syrup.

∵ The maple tree filled
(3)/(4) cup in
(1)/(2) hours

∴ in one hour the tree filled the cup =
(3)/(4) ÷
(1)/(2)

=
(3)/(4) ×
(2)/(1)

=
(6)/(4)

=
(3)/(2)

=
1(1)/(2) cups

Option C. Syrup flow
1(1)/(2) cups per hour.
