What is the differnce between weight and mass

Everything has mass but everything has different weight

Weight is a measure of the force of gravity on a certain object. It is the measuring of how much gravity is pushing on an object in a downward direction.

Mass is the measurement of how much matter is in a certain object.

Although mass and weight are commonly thought as the same word, they are very different from each other.
