Ben has typed 180 words per minute and can type 30 words per minute. Millie has typed 60 words and can type 50 words per minute. How many minutes will it take for Millie to catch up with Ben?

180 + 30x = 60 + 50x
⇒ 20x = 120
⇒ x = 6 minutes

it will take 6 minutes for Millie to catch up with Ben
