Does anyone know how to divide a fraction?

to divide a fraction, divide the numerator by the denominator: 1/2 divide 1 by 2 and get .5

to divide a fraction by another number, flip the second number so the numerator becomes the denominator and the denominator becomes the numerator then multiply:
1 1 1 2 2
-- / -- = -- • -- = -- = 1
2 2 2 1 2

if you use calculator you just put the top number of the fraction first then push the divide button then you put the bottom number of the fraction in and then it show you answer
