What is the difference between a coefficient and a subscript

The coefficient is the number that comes in front of the variable and the subscript comes after. The coefficient is the number of how many of the whole and the subscript is how many of the variable it's attached to.

Coefficients - Are number of separate bits
Subscripts - Are number of atoms of an element in each bit
