A teacher has 27 students in her class. she asks the students to form as many groups of four as possible. how many students will not be in a group?

You can solve this by dividing 27 people by 4 groups:
27/4
4 goes into 27 [6] times
6 *4=24
27-24=3
There will be 3 remaining.
