Women were affected because they suddenly got numerous job positions opened and worked in factories to support the war effort while their husbands and sons were in the war. Minorities were affected because they had to enlist in the war and and fight in the army. After it ended, the minorities were angry because they lost all the respect that they had and that they earned, while women were angry that they had to go back to being housewives.
