Note that 3 ft = 1 yd. Make a conversion factor out of that equality: 1 yd

Multiply "180 ft" by this conversion factor. "ft" will cancel, leaving you with "yd"

3 feet is equivalent to a yard. Therefore 180 ft is equal to 60 yards
