r = 55 total reservations - 5 reservations from the last hour / 5 hours
R = 55 -5 / 5
r = 10

5r+5=55 is the equation. First subtract 5 from 55 and you get 50. The equation is now 5r=50. Now divide 50 by 5 and you get r= 10. So 10 reservations per hour.
