A cation then anion. Cation being positive charge will come first, and then the negative charged anion will follow up for ionic compounds

The correct option is A.

In chemistry, when writing the names of ionic compounds, one has to write the cation first followed by the anion. The first part of the name is called the cation, it is positively charged and is a metal while the second part is called the anion, it is negatively charged and is a non metal. For instance, for the ionic compound sodium chloride, the metal part is named first and the non metal part named last.
