Group 16 on the periodic table must gain two electrons to become stable.
Reasoning:
The elements in group 16 already has six valence electrons and for order your element to become stable it requires that element to have a total of eight valence electrons to have a full outer shell.

HOPE THIS HELPS! ^_^
