Why is recycling aluminum cans beneficial?

It is beneficial because the cans take many years to decompose. With tons of cans being used and thrown out, landfills quickly fill up. And they don't just fill up with aluminum cans. When people recycle, they are helping the earth. So recycling the cans helps to clear up landfills and also keeps the earth healthy.
