Every minute was an eternity while the family waited for the doctor.

a) Time seemed to pass very slowly while the family waited for the doctor.
b) The family continually asked every minute if the doctor was available
Note: I am thinking about a)...give me an idea...What do you think.

it's a they say evey minute was an eternity so this means that time passes by vary slowly
