My rule for adverbs is anything that ends in -ly, and they modify a verb. So some for a snake, maybe it moves quickly, quietly, or rapidly. Maybe it thinks craftily, or carefully, or calculatingly. Those are just my ideas, hopefully it helps you think of some more!
