DIAPEDESIS is a phase that involves white blood cells leaving capillaries.

Diapedesis is most known for Leukocyte extravasation. This process is happens when there is in inflammation. The leukocytes or white blood cells move out of the circulatory system through diapedesis and towards the inflamed site where tissues are damaged or infected. It is equivalent to administering first aid to minor wounds.
