2( x - 6) < 1/2(12x - 8)
2x - 12 < (12x- 8)/2
2x - 12 < 6x - 4
2x - 6x < -4 + 12
-4x < 8
Divide both sides by -4
-4x/-4 < 8/-4
x > - 2
