To find slope:

-6+2/ -2-1 = 4/3

Plug the slope (4/3) into the point-slope equation with one of the two point given. I chose (-2,-6):

y+6=4/3 (x+2)
Distribute

y+6= 4/3x+ 8/3
Subtract 6 from both sides

y=4/3x- 10/3

Hope this helps :)
