9. Assume that a DNA molecule contains 100 base pairs.

One base pair is (A paired with T) or (C paired with G.)
There are 45 cytosines in this DNA molecule. (2 points)
a. How many guanines are there? (Hint: What base will guanine bond with? How many of those are there?)
b. How many adenines are there? (Hint: The total number of base pairs will equal 100.)

A.) Guanine = 45

B.) Adenine = (100 - 90 )/ 2 = 10/2 = 5
