a recipe for cake needs 3/4 cup of milk. you are making 1/2 of the recipe. how much milk do you need?

I believe the answer is 3/8 or .375 because 1/2 OF of the recipe (3/4) so you multiply. 1/2×3/4= 3/8
.5×.75= .375
Same in fraction or in decimal.
