Annie is a bit shocked that Peter decides to cut the star of david from his clothing now that they are in hiding and the nazis are not there to force him to keep it on. what other symbols or words can you think of that have both a positive and negative meaning.

Positive- He is making his mark, fighting against the some of the German people that like Adolf Hitler.
Negative- Since Adolf Hitler didn't trust some of the Germans he keep guards outside some people's door so the guards can see,and hear everything.
