Given the balanced chemical equation:
2HCl + Ca(OH)2 ---> CaCl2 + 2H2O
Vhcl = 1 L
Vcaoh2 = 2 L
Ccaoh2 = 1.5mol/L
To solve for the concentration of HCl:
Chcl = ((1.5mol/L * 2L) * (2mol HCl/1 mol Ca(OH)2)) / 1L
=
6 mol/L
