White bunnies are a common sight on farms and in pet stores. Why are these domestic white rabbits uncommon in the wild?

A) Domestic white rabbits and wild brown rabbits are different rabbit species.
B) Genetically, it is impossible for two brown rabbits to produce white offspring.
C) Domestic white rabbits are the result of selective breeding and are rarely found in the wild.
D) White rabbits are as common in the wild as on farms, but they hide better than brown rabbits to avoid predators.
