You use 4 gallons of water on 30 plants in your garden. At that rate, how much water will it take to water 45 plants?

So I did 4÷30 to figure out how much water each plant took, and I got 0.133333333333333 (14 3s) so now I'm just going to do 0.133333333333333×45, and I got 6. So it would take 6 gallons of water to water 45 plants.

It would take 6 gallons of water because with 30 plants and 4 gallons, that is 2 gallons for every 15 plants:)
