If the angles are complementary then their sum would be equal to 90 degrees

So, x + 3x+30 = 90
4x = 90 - 30
x = 60 / 4
x = 15

In short, Your Answer would be 15

Hope this helps!

complementary angles add up to 90 degrees

m < 1 + m < 2 = 90
x + 3x + 30 = 90
4x + 30 = 90
4x = 90 - 30
4x = 60
x = 60/4
x = 15 <===
