You need to post the equations.

I could make a guess and say the equation is:
(x-8)*(x+2) = 0
x^2 -6x -16 = 0
and to have a y-intercept of -48, it should be:
4x^2 -24x -48 = 0

Which equation, when graphed, has x-intercepts at (8, 0) and (−2, 0) and a y-intercept at (0, −48)?
