If i had been a member of Congress what type of plan for reconstruction would i support and why

i would of supported the way Lincoln was thinking by making it simple for the south so that the nation would be reunited faster and so the the healing process would start. The way Lincoln was thinking would have helped unity come back which was what the american people wanted. I hope this helps at least a little or you can add to it idk....
