How do you think species, like the hooded grasshopper are able to camouflage themselves?

The hooded grasshopper looks like a leaf, therefore; it uses this benefit to hang from branches and deceive predators.

Species like this take advantage of their bodily camouflage and sit in an environment where they would appear to be something inedible to their predators
