A cone-shaped container is completely filled with liquid. The container has a radius of 60 cm and an height of 210 cm. The liquid is drained from the container at a rate of 1099 cm³ per hour. How many hours will it take to drain all of the liquid?

pi * 60^2 * 210/3 = 791681
divide 791681 by 1099,
720 hours.

It takes 720 hours or 30 days to drain the liquid.

Answer: It will take 720 hours to drain all of the liquid.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Radius of cone = 60 cm

Height of cone = 210 cm

We need to find the volume of cone:

As we know the formula for "Volume of cone":

V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h\\\\V=(1)/(3)* (22)/(7)* 60* 60* 210\\\\V=792000\ cm^3

Speed of the liquid is drained out from the container = 1099 cm³ per hour.

so, Number of hours it will take to drain all of the liquid is given by

Time=(Distance)/(Speed)=(792000)/(1099)\approx 720\ hours

Hence, it will take 720 hours to drain all of the liquid.
