Here, Potential Energy at starting = mgh = 2 * 9.8 * 2.5 = 49 J

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mv² = 1/2 * 2 * 7² = 49 J

In short, Your Answer would be Option D) The mechanical energy is conserved
