You're basically multiplying the number and the variable with the number on the outside of the parenthesis.
So, 8(x + 7). You multiply 8 and the variable to get 8x. The same with '7'.
8 times 7 is 56.
Answers:
A) 8x + 56
B) 66 + 6x
C) 8x + 8
