The correct answer is - C) Mount St. Helens.

Mount St.Helens is a volcanic mountain. It is located in the western part of the North American continent, in close proximity of the plate boundary between the North American and Pacific plates.

As a result of the subduction of the Pacific plate bellow the North American plate, a lot of geologic activity has appeared along and around the subduction zone, including the volcanic activity.

Mount St Helens is a result of this volcanic activity, thus becoming part of the biggest volcanic chain on the planet known as the ''Ring of Fire''.
