For the x intercept
Plug y=0
x-intercept is a point on the graph where y=0
-2x^2+12x-10=0

Solve with the quadratic formula or factoring method
the x intercept is (1,5)

For the y intercept let x = 0
and you'll get -10

for the x intercepts you must solve for x:

f(x)=-2x^2+12x-10\\ f(x)=x^2-6x+5\\ f(x)=(x-5)(x-1) \\x=5\\x=1
