c is coasters and b are boat rides
4c + 3b = 37
c + b =10
c = 10- b, substitute into the first equatiom
4 (10- b) + 3b = 37
40 - 4b + 3b= 37
40 -b= 37
-b = -3
b= 3
now substitute into second equatiom
c+ 3 = 10
c = 7

A) r + b = 10
B) 4r + 3b = 37
-3r -3b = -30
4r + 3b = 37
r = 7
b = 3
7 roller coaster rides = 7*4 = 28 tickets
3 boat rides = 3 * 3 = 9 tickets
37 ticket total
