Find the length and width of the rectangle.

The perimeter of the rectangle is 130 meters, and the length of the rectangle is 15 meters more than the width.

Two of the sides can be represented by x, and the two other sides can be represented by x+15.
x + x + (x +15) + (x + 15) = 130

OR

2x + 2x + 30 = 130
4x + 30 = 130
subtract 30 for each side
4x = 100
divided 4 for each side
x = 25

25 + 25 + 40 + 40 = 130 meter perimeter
